Our experienced and pleasant Tour-Director, who will be with you throughout, will meet & greet you at Kolkata International Airport before the journey begins. She / He will assist you with immigration & custom formalities before boarding the flight.

Day 1 Welcome to Splendid Switzerland 

Welcome to Switzerland, a mountainous Central European country home to numerous lakes, villages and the high peaks of the Alps. Upon arrival at the Zurich International Airport, complete the immigration formalities and proceed to the hotel. Overnight stay in Zurich. (Dinner).

Day 2 Rhine Falls and Zurich City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a wonderful day in Zurich – go around the city and see all its unique features. The route leads across the famous Bahnhofstrasse and the banking centre of the lake with a view of the snow-capped mountains, part of the old town with its magnificent guild houses and the churches St. Peter, Grossmünster and Fraumünster. fter lunch, we proceed to Rhinefalls. Visit Schaffhausen, where you see the magnificent Rhine Falls – Europe’s biggest and most spectacular falls. We will be ready for a thrilling experience at Rhine Falls with a boat ride. Witness the magnificent falls as we sail up close to the falls.

Later, drive to your hotel—dinner and overnight in Zurich. 

Day 3 Visit Mt. Titlis -enjoy Cable car rides, including the world’s first rotating cable car, the Rotair – to the top of Mt. Titlis at 3,020 metres—orientation tour of Geneva.

Today, after breakfast, we check out and proceed to enjoy fantastic scenery, a once-in-a-lifetime experience with an exhilarating tip to the top of Mt Titlis at 3020 metres on various cable cars, including Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car. Take an unrestricted 360-degree stunning view of the dazzling snow-caped peak, deep crevasses, and pristine white snowfields dotted with massive ice boulders from every angle. After lunch, do not forget to visit the “Cliff Walk”, the highest suspension bridge in Europe along the cliff of Mt.Titlis. Later, proceed on an orientation tour of Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Visit the Lion Monument and Kapell Brucke for some free time to shop for famous Swiss watches, knives, and chocolates. Later, we sat back and relaxed on the couch as we drove to Geneva, followed by an orientation tour of Geneva, and later, we checked into the hotel—dinner and overnight at Zurich

Day 4 Enjoy a magical alpine excursion to the top of Europe - the amazing Jungfraujoch and scenic Interlaken.

Enjoy a magical alpine excursion to the top of Europe - the amazing Jungfraujoch and scenic Interlaken. Get set for a memorable, magical alpine excursion to Jungfraujoch –The Top of Europe, a high–point of your tour. First, proceed to Grindelwald Terminal. The new 3SBahn Eiger Express takes you from the Grindelwald Terminal to the Eigergletscher station in 15 minutes. There you board a cogwheel train to reach the highest railway station in Europe at 11,333 feet – a world of eternal ice and snow. Visit the Ice Palace where artistes create their work of art in ice. Visit the Sphinx observatory deck to experience a breath-taking panoramic view of the longest glacier in the Alps - Aletsch Glacier. Later, proceed to an orientation tour of Interlaken, explore traditional aspects of Swiss culture in authentic settings, and discover the beauty and history of Interlaken and its surroundings. Overnight at Grindelwald.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).. 

Day 5 Grindelwald -Bern-Broc- Geneva

Today, we proceed to Bern, the capital of Switzerland, which is built on a sandstone ridge encircled on three sides by the River Aare flowing through a valley. Upon arrival after lunch, you can enjoy a walk around Bern. We see Bear Pits - a Swiss heritage site of national significance and is of particular relevance in Bern because the bear is a symbol of Bern, Bern Clock Tower – 800 years astronomical Clock Tower (Zytglogge), Old town - UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the medieval city centre of Bern, Einsteinhaus - a museum and a former residence of Physicist Albert Einstein and Aare River - the longest river flowing entirely within Switzerland. Further, we visit Maison Cailler – The Swiss chocolate factory at Broc. We then proceed to Geneva, popularly known as the ‘capital of peace’, as it is the headquarters of the Red Cross and the European seat of the UNO.

Day 6 Geneva-Vevey- Montreaux

Today, we explore Geneva city and see the Jet D’eau fountain - a 140-metre high water fountain and the official logo for Geneva’s hosting of the 2008 UEFA Championships, Geneva Lake - Switzerland’s largest lake. Flower Clock – a large working clock made of flowers that changes with the seasons; UN Building - office of the United Nations in Geneva is the European headquarters of the UN, the other headquarters being in New York; famous Broken Chair - a monumental sculpture in wood by the Swiss artist Daniel Berset, Red Cross building - Headquarters of International Committee of the Red Cross and WHO Building – Headquarters of World Health Organization. After lunch, we drive towards Vevey - a Swiss town on Lake Geneva known for being one of the “Pearls of the Swiss Riviera”. Here, we visit Chaplin’s world - a museum and a former residence of the British comedian, actor, director and composer Charlie Chaplin. We then proceed to Montreux – a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva from the lake to the mountains and vineyards. Upon arrival, we visited Château de Chillon, an island castle on Lake Geneva. Proceed to Zermatt, dinner and overnight at Zermatt. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 

Day 7 Zermatt-Matterhorn

Visit the car-free town of Zermatt and view the Matterhorn Today after breakfast, checkout from your hotel and proceed to Zermatt. Zermatt lies at the foot of the Matterhorn. It is a mountain which known for its almost perfect pyramid shape. The town’s touristic development is closely linked to what is most probably the world’s most famous mountain. The vacation destination is a car-free zone, has preserved its original character charms of Alpine locations on the main street. Feel free to stroll around this exquisite town of Zermatt. Later we return to central Switzerland and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Zermatt. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 Onboard Glacier Express

Glacier Express route starts from Zermatt to St. Moritz, covering a distance of approximately 291 kilometers. The tour is known for its breathtaking views of glaciers, mountain peaks, and picturesque villages, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for tourists. The Glacier Express is a UNESCO World Heritage route and one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. The Glacier Express offers panoramic windows and informative commentary, ensuring every moment of this trip is as enriching as it is scenic. This iconic train ride, which takes about 8 hours, is celebrated for its breathtaking scenery, showcasing Switzerland’s natural beauty, engineering marvels, and charming alpine villages. Here’s a detailed look at what makes this journey unforgettable:

Zermatt and the Matterhorn

The adventure begins in Zermatt, a picturesque town at the foot of the Matterhorn, one of the most iconic peaks in the world. As the train departs, passengers are treated to stunning views of this majestic mountain of the Alps, with its snow-capped peak soaring into the sky. The

Mattertal Valley

The train descends through the Mattertal Valley, passing quaint Swiss chalets and lush green pastures. The valley is dotted with traditional villages, offering glimpses of Switzerland’s timeless rural charm.

The Rhine Gorge (Swiss Grand Canyon) One of the most dramatic sights on the journey is the Rhine Gorge, also known as the "Swiss Grand Canyon." Carved by the Rhine River, this awe-inspiring natural wonder features sheer cliffs, rugged rock formations, and lush forests. The Gorge is a highlight for nature lovers and photographers alike.

Oberalp Pass

The train reaches its highest point at the Oberalp Pass (2,033 meters or 6,670 feet above sea level). This segment offers panoramic views of snow-covered peaks, serene alpine lakes, and winding roads. In winter, the pass is a snowy wonderland, while summer reveals verdant landscapes.

Andermatt and Brig

The journey also passes through Andermatt, a charming mountain village, and Brig, home to the stunning Stockalper Palace, a historical gem with baroque architecture.

UNESCO World Heritage Albula Line

Between Chur and St. Moritz, the train travels on the Albula Line, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its engineering brilliance. This section includes spiraling tunnels, stone viaducts, and steep inclines. The iconic Landwasser Viaduct, a six-arched stone bridge curving dramatically over the Landwasser River, is a sight to behold.

St. Moritz

The journey concludes in St. Moritz, a glamorous alpine resort known for its luxury, pristine lakes, and skiing.

Day 9 St.Moritz to Zurich

After breakfast travel to Zurich. Flight back to Kolkata from Zurich.

Day 10 Reach India Say your goodbyes and depart from airport towards your home with a bag ful of memories and heart full of content.
